Okay...so I cheated a little last night. Had a mini row with my boyfriend and was mad that all my effort of making a yummy St. Pat dinner that I couldn't eat was wasted. (He left to go out and said he was not hungry...even though I know he just ate at the bar). MEN!!!
Needless to say the Irish Scones fresh out of the oven were smelling delish and going to waste. (Not completely true, my 2 year old was demolishing his fair share.) So I had a bite, and then another..and ate about 1/4 cup of Irish scone bread. Needless to say, the scales said it all this morning when the number did not budge. Positive thought is that I did not go up..but I did not go down either.
Today for lunch was the wonderful mystery chemical solution (AKA Walden Farms Dressing) on salad greens with a side of baked tilapia with lemon juice. Not extremely tasty, but it will suffice.
Tonight I think I will make my soup again. Chicken boiled in water with some garlic powder, onion powder, and poultry seasoning. Then dice up some onion and voila! I think it is the poultry seasoning, but yummy as all get out for what you can have on this diet.
I noticed today that when I am in the grocery store shopping, I can now walk by some of my favorite foods and not think twice about them. Then there are others that I have to tell myself "later"..like the Deans French Onion Dip I bought for the family. (On sale for $1.89 and then had $1/2 coupons that doubled at Shoppers.) Can you say "I love double and triple coupons!" I got kids toothpaste for $0.49 each and lots of other yummy (I can't eat) items.
Don't worry though, I also stock up on the healthy items. Last week I got 9 bags of frozen veggies for $1.20 and received a coupon for $5 on my next order. Needless to say about 60 bags of frozen veggies later and no freezer space, I had made about $25 extra to buy more groceries with. I can't wait for tomorrow when they have the fuze deal at Giant! I will buy 12 use the coupons I have..pay about $1.16 + tax and get $7 OYNO coupon! I have enough coupons to do this 10 times..so 120 bottles of fuze and $60 more in money! Getting paid to shop is such a novel idea.
